“Feelings: A New Musical is an electric and relatable odyssey about college senior Jane and her struggles with depression and anxiety. After meeting the enigmatic Naomi, the protagonist needs to choose between true love and ending her life. This vulnerable pop musical is told in storytelling format with the brilliance of scriptwriter Elena C. Lockleis, vocal stars Jessica Bell and Natalie Masini, and raw lyrics from Jon Worthy and Emily Henry. Feelings is a heartfelt tale that explores honest human emotions from start to finish and finds a fresh new voice for fans of LGBT talent.”

“It's really intriguing how this project feels neutral if approached as an artist’s debut LP, but deeply thoughtful and personal if received as a standalone project that does not belong in any discography. ‘Feelings: A New Musical’ is an inspiring story told in pieces over instrumentals that scream American youth, even though the themes encapsulated are universal. It’s about the confusion over new-found feelings, the restlessness of a growing human’s mind, the inability to handle our emotional world. All I need to say at this point is that we are faulty creatures and life goes on no matter what. I only wish less people ended their struggles by ending their lives but unfortunately, society plays a significant part too. And change takes time.”

"Overall, this concept album is a unique work of art that takes themes of the timeless human condition and expresses it through a very modern lens. It deals with classic artistic themes such as love and trust but addresses them in a way that combines with contemporary concerns such as maintaining mental health, dealing with depression and coming to terms with one’s sexual orientation. The result is a powerful collection of songs by Jon Worthy, beautifully performed by Jessica Bell and Natalie Masini, which I hope will be developed and adapted into a successful musical. As it is, Feelings works as a superb concept album which will bring inspiration and comfort to those that hear it."

“So, what about the music? Sonically, you’ll find an eclectic mix of styles and influences on this album. From the angst of punk and alternative music down to melodic acoustic ballads and 90s-inspired alt-pop bangers, anything goes. It’s like being a special guest at a party where the speaker is blasting some of the best Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Daughter, or Third Eye Blind! The songs on the album captured the musical spirit of the late 90s and early 2000s while still offering a clean focus in terms of clarity and professionalism in sound.”
